AutomationDirect has added WON linear bearing and rails to their line of mechanical power transmission products.

WON linear bearings generate lower friction than comparable sliding bearings. With less friction to overcome, less power is required to move a load, higher speeds can be achieved, and greater efficiency is reached.

WON linear bearing blocks are available in various sizes to meet the needs of any specialized motion project. The H series offers four rows of continuously circulating ball bearings and comes in a flanged or rectangular form factor; the compact M and MB series offers two rows and comes in either a rectangular or long rectangular form factor.

Linear rail in lengths up to 1000mm matches the series of bearing blocks that is elected. All bearing/rail systems provide 4-direction equal load sharing in any direction for lower friction and smooth motion.

WON linear bearing blocks start at $38.00, rails start at $12.50, and both have a 1-year warranty.
