Teledyne FLIR Debuts New Calibration, Service, and Warranty Packages: FLIR CARE and FLIR PROTECT

New Multi-Tiered CARE and PROTECT Packages for Select Handheld and Fixed-Mount Thermal Cameras from Teledyne FLIR

Teledyne FLIR has announced its new service and warranty packages for select handheld and fixed-mount thermal cameras: FLIR CARE and FLIR PROTECT.

FLIR CARE and FLIR PROTECT service packages are eligible for coverage and compatible with handheld thermal cameras including the GF77 and GF77a uncooled optical gas imaging cameras and those that are a part of the thermal FLIR ONE, Cx, Ex, Exx, Txxx, and T1xxx-Series families, as well as fixed-mount cameras including the FLIR A50, A70, A400, A500, and A700 cameras.

FLIR CARE – World-Class Calibration

To maintain quality and optimal performance, FLIR CARE provides world-class calibration, whether that requires performance verification or premium traceable calibration adjustment services. High-performance calibration services will ensure that FLIR cameras are cared for quickly, properly, and accurately to avoid unforeseen downtime and ensure the thermal data is always precise.

FLIR CARE offers three packages:
  • FLIR CARE+ Performance Verification
  • FLIR CARE Pro Calibration and Adjustment Services
  • FLIR TOTAL CARE Priority Calibration and Adjustment Service

All FLIR CARE service packages offer a multi-point inspection as well as traceable calibration data so you can be confident that your measuring instrument is accurate and performing to factory specifications.

FLIR PROTECT – Protect Your Investment

To ensure the camera operates smoothly for years to come, FLIR PROTECT includes extended warranty and service packages to provide peace of mind and protection from material defects and issues for a full three years beyond the respective camera’s factory warranty. If there are any issues with the camera or its battery, repairs and replacements are covered under FLIR PROTECT. Within this range of premium warranty options, camera owners receive one free service with calibration, discounts on additional service needs, and options for fast-delivered loaner cameras.

There are three FLIR PROTECT packages:
  • FLIR PROTECT+
  • FLIR PROTECT Pro
  • FLIR TOTAL PROTECT

FLIR TOTAL PROTECT includes one FLIR TOTAL CARE service. All FLIR PROTECT packages also include a three-year warranty with warranty shipping coverage.

FLIR CARE can be purchased at the time of service or in advance as a service credit. FLIR PROTECT can be purchased at the time of camera sale, while the camera is under factory warranty, or for select out-of-warranty cameras with approval from service.
