SEW-EURODRIVE: Simple and Flexible I/O Expansion

November 17, 2020

Perfectly matched components are the key to efficient and high-performance machine automation. SEW-EURODRIVE offers a comprehensive product portfolio of all required components. From drive technology through control platforms to the human machine interface (HMI), SEW-EURODRIVE provides a finely scaled range of matched components, further enhanced and rounded off with the MOVI-PLC I/O system.

The MOVI-PLC I/O system expands the digital and analog interfaces of MOVI-PLC. Up to 32 modules per bus coupler can be connected via the system bus in the IP20 enclosure.

Accordingly, MOVI-PLC can automatically access a large range of inputs and outputs:

  •    –   MOVI-PLC I/O system
  •    –   I/Os integrated directly in MOVI-PLC
  •    –   I/O address of the inverter

The MOVI-PLC I/O system at a glance

  •    –   Powerful connection to MOVI-PLC via the machine module’s system bus
  •    –   Optimally integrated into the programming software PLC Editor of MOVITOOLS MotionStudio
  •    –   A variety of combination options makes for flexible and individual machine solutions
  •    –   Compact design and the modular structure reduce control cabinet space requirements to a minimum
  •    –   Quick and easy installation or replacement during startup or service
