Easy crimping for connectors and wire end ferrules – safe, flexible, electrical

The semi-automated POWERCRIMPER VARIO from Weidmüller provides more flexibility in panel building, thereby creating real efficiency benefits.

Thanks to its purely electric drive, the POWERCRIMPER VARIO as a purely crimping machine offers flexible application options in production. Different inserts, e.g. for insulated connectors up to 6 mm² (AWG 10) or wire end ferrules in the range from 0.25 to 16 mm² (AWG 24-6), enable energy-saving crimping operations. With the use of hand tools and an increasing number of crimps, these connections are among the more demanding applications.

As a result, the Weidmüller POWERCRIMPER VARIO offers the following distinctive advantages:

· Purely electric operation
The POWERCRIMPER VARIO is purely electrical and therefore offers multiple usage options inside or outside the production area.

· High process reliability
The crimper can be equipped with different inserts e.g. for insulated connectors or wire end ferrules. The result is ideal positioning and thus perfect crimped connections with high pull-out forces.

· Finger safety
To increase safety and ensure compliance with DIN EN ISO 13854, the machine is equipped with a protective screen. The crimping process is only triggered automatically when the protective cover is closed. A separate foot switch is not needed.

· Convenient serviceability
The maintenance-friendly design of the POWERCRIMPER VARIO enables easy access in the event of a fault. An implemented LED display and a clearly defined workspace make handling very easy.

· Modern design
Thanks to its compact design, the crimping machine can be operated anywhere, even in narrow spaces. Its robust metal components guarantee a long service life.

To sum up: the POWERCRIMPER VARIO from Weidmüller offers an efficient and energy-saving solution for panel building thanks to its electric drive and flexible application options for various connectors and wire end ferrules.
