Phoenix Contact: Power Supplies for the Charging Infrastructure

The STEP POWER power supply family from Phoenix Contact has been extended to include new devices for your e-mobility charging infrastructure. The new 12 V power supplies have a compact design that makes them ideal for use in your charging station.

They reliably supply the charging controller and the charging connector interlock in the charging station with 1 A or 2 A. The power supplies have been developed and tested with regard to electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) in accordance with the EN 61851-21-2 charging station standard. They also satisfy safety standards in accordance with EN/UL 61010.

STEP POWER power supplies are the first devices in the world to deliver Efficiency Level VI – the highest level possible – in no-load and part-load operation. They feature a high coefficient of efficiency of >94% and low no-load losses of <0.1 W. Push-in connection technology at a 45° angle also enables very fast, easy commissioning. A wide temperature range from -10°C to +70°C is supported.
