New Water-Quality Panels are Compact, All-In-One Monitoring Solutions
Endress+Hauser’s extremely compact, factory-assembled drinking water quality panels With Memosens 2.0 sensors are fast and easy to install and maintain. The are basically ready-to-go right out of the box.

Endress+Hauser is launching a smart, easy way to incorporate water quality monitoring throughout utilities and process plants: Factory-assembled analytical panels equipped with the latest Memosens 2.0 sensor technology. These compact panels, for either drinking water quality or disinfection monitoring, are ready-to-go. Installation and commissioning are extremely simple, requiring operators to just affix the panel to the wall at the desired critical measuring location, connect the water and electrical lines, and the Liquiline CM-44x transmitter immediately begins sending real-time sensor data to the central monitoring point. The instruments are easy to clean and maintain, while the advanced sensor diagnostics provided by Endress+Hauser’s Heartbeat Technology help operators maintain continual measurement accuracy and process integrity.

These factory-assembled panels reduce complexity for customers in a wide range of industries from public water utilities, food and beverage and pharmaceutical companies to any operator monitoring process or discharge water quality. Their extremely small size makes them a perfect fit at every critical process step, particularly at locations lacking sufficient space to accommodate any other multi-parameter measurement setup.

Since its introduction two decades ago, Memosens technology has revolutionized liquid analysis technology. With Memosens 2.0 in these water quality panels, measuring points are completely future-proof and ready for IIoT.

These factory-assembled panels address multiple use cases: compliance with turbidity limits; eliminating manual measurement; concentration of important measurements at the same location; and contamination detection and localization in water networks at an early stage.

Each panel is modular in content, delivered from the factory with each customer’s desired sensor array – up to four different parameters, selected from among conductivity, pH, ORP, a disinfection sensor (such as ozone, total chlorine or free chlorine), turbidity and oxygen.

The drinking water and disinfection panels’ newly developed flow assembly is water-saving by design, with a sophisticated geometry that minimizes water consumption – only 30l/h thanks to the serial arrangement of the sensors.

Available automatic cleaning solutions reduce or eliminate the need for manual cleaning. Additionally, particularly simple dismounting of the sensors makes for super easy exchanges with true plug&play, so sensors can be pre-calibrated in the lab, a feature of the digital technology of Endress+Hauser’s Memosens portfolio. Such on-site sensor exchanging reduces process downtime and regular regeneration extends sensor lifetime.

The Liquiline transmitter supports up to eight channels with connectivity via Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP, Profibus DP or HART.

Single sourcing of all plant-wide drinking water quality monitoring requirements via these Endress+Hauser panels also reduces procurement costs, inventory management and simplifies training; staff just have to be familiar with one monitoring product, not several.
