Continuing its investment in redesigning, enhancing, and expanding its residential portfolio to bring smart, sustainable technologies to homes, ABB launches ReliaHome Load Centers¹. The announcement signals ABB re-launching and re-branding its residential energy distribution offering under the ABB ReliaHome brand, following its acquisition of GE’s Industrial Solutions business in 2018.
ABB’s universally compatible residential circuit breakers work seamlessly with the entire ReliaHome Load Center portfolio providing a complete solution that contractors can install easily, and distributors can stock with confidence. Available through ABB’s extensive distributor network across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Ecuador, Central America and the Caribbean, ReliaHome Load Centers incorporate several advancements.
Engineered to facilitate a quick and easy installation, the newly designed ReliaHome Load Centers feature ABB’s innovative ReliaLock™ connection technology, while elevated neutral bars, backed-out neutral screws, and 100 percent neutral terminations create a more organized and accessible wiring space. Available in a variety of sizes, the T-Series, P-Series, and P-Series+ load centers can accommodate 2-60 1″ circuit breaker spaces and feature a plug-on neutral design for the P-Series and P-Series+ models.
For added convenience, diamond key knockouts, self-leveling center keyhole mounting, and ground bars for main lug and convertible main are included, making the load centers exceptionally installer-friendly. To withstand harsh environments, ReliaHome Load Centers enclosures are galvanized and rust-resistant, ensuring reliability and peace of mind for homeowners and builders alike.
Since 2018, ABB has made significant investments in product innovation, production, and talent to expand its residential offering. This includes the recent investment in Lumin to co-develop sustainable energy management technologies, launching the ReliaHome Smart Panel in 2024. In the last two years, ABB has also introduced several new products, including the Tandem & Quad space-saving residential circuit breakers, internal whole home surge, high amperage 2-pole Ground Fault Circuit Interrupters and the ReliaMod™ modular metering offering.
Adam Mease, Business Line Leader Energy Distribution NEMA at ABB’s Electrification Smart Buildings Division said, “Our commitment to electrifying the future of housing and driving the energy transition in residential markets is reflected by our focus on innovation and technological investments. These advancements, backed by more than 130 years of electrical expertise and a dedicated residential team, provide homebuilders, contractors, and distributors with the latest technology for reliable energy distribution in homes, helping them complete projects on time and within budget.”
