LOVATO Plastic: Construction of a New Building in Bergamo Starts, a €14 Million Investment

LOVATO Electric proudly announced the start of construction work on a new, modern building at its headquarters in Gorle (BG) in October, 2024. Construction is currently underway.
A €14 million investment marks a milestone in the growth of the company and its production capacity.
The new building will cover an area of 4800 square metres and will house two strategic departments for the company: tooling, where moulds are made, and moulding, where plastic components are manufactured. This expansion will also free up space in the historical building, where other major investments are planned.

The new facility will be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities designed to ensure maximum energy efficiency and reduced environmental impact. In addition, there will be a warehouse for the storage of moulds with earthquake and fireproof features, guaranteeing the safety and protection of these important assets.
Thanks to the introduction of new technologically advanced machinery, LOVATO Plastic will enable a significant increase in productivity capacity, together with speed and responsiveness to better meet market demands. The investment will also lead to the creation of new jobs, contributing to local economic development and strengthening the link between the company and the area. Construction work has just started and is scheduled for completion in August 2026.
