Littelfuse Announces Global Survey Results on Electrical Safety Awareness
Littelfuse, Inc., a global manufacturer of leading technologies in circuit protection and power control, today announced the results of its recent facility electrical safety survey. The global survey conducted by Littelfuse earlier this year finds that while most workers feel arc-flash mitigation is a priority in their workplace, only half have completed a risk assessment to identify hazardous areas.
Cummins to Acquire Meritor
Cummins Inc. and Meritor, Inc. recently announced that they have entered into a definitive agreement under which Cummins will acquire Meritor, a global leader of drivetrain, mobility, braking, aftermarket and electric powertrain solutions for commercial vehicle and industrial markets. Under the terms of the agreement, Cummins will pay $36.50 in cash per Meritor share, for a total transaction value of approximately $3.7 billion, including assumed debt and net of acquired cash.

Phoenix Contact Canada is pleased to announce that Roger Hallett has accepted the position of General Manager, taking on leadership for our Canadian operations. Prior to joining Phoenix Contact, Roger held a series of senior management roles with Festo, Siemens and ABB. Originally from the UK, Roger’s international career has involved living and working in Germany, South East Asia, and Japan. After a 5-year posting in Japan, in 2002 Roger relocated to Canada and after some years decided to settle there. He became a Canadian citizen in 2007.
