AutomationDirect has added new ProSense VCST series vibration sensors. These sensors accurately detect vibrations of industrial equipment, primarily rotating equipment such as steam and gas turbines, pumps, motors, compressors, and rolling mills. Vibration sensors provide early detection of developing malfunctions, allowing for timely maintenance before major damage or failure results in costly repairs and production downtime.
As emissions regulations continue to get stricter, OEMS are looking for ways to meet or beat the specifications to ensure that their equipment is in compliance. PILZ’s intention with the EULYNX adapter is to advance the digitalisation of the rail industry. They are driving this development in conjunction with ProRail, the largest railway infrastructure operator in the Netherlands.
