The new production plant is officially in operation after its formal unveiling at Lafert’s 60th anniversity celebrations in San Donà di Piave, Italy, close to the historic headquarters. The 130 000 sq foot plant was developed to increase production capacity and meet the growing demand for IE5 Super Premium Efficiency motors, while also providing new storage areas for raw materials and finished products.

ABB and transformational technology and engineering company Coolbrook have signed an agreement to accelerate the development, industrialization and adoption of RotoDynamic technology to decarbonize hard-to-abate sectors such as petrochemicals and chemicals, cement and steel. RotoDynamic technology replaces the burning of fossil fuel with renewable electricity as the energy source. The new agreement expands ABB and Coolbrook’s existing partnership, launched in January 2022, and was signed at Imperial College in London last week.
NSK has received the “Japanese Society of Tribologists (JAST)*1 Technology Award” for new technology improving the durability of bearings by strengthening the rolling elements (steel balls).
