The Charter-of-Trust (CoT) partners have agreed to deliver next-generation products with preset cybersecurity, following a clear “Security by Default” philosophy. At present, there are no uniform regulations governing this issue – many products leave the factory solely dependent on safety systems that do not provide comprehensive protection. DB Regio has ordered 18 three-part Mireo trainsets from Siemens for service in the Lausitz regional network in the states of Brandenburg and Saxony. On December 17, 2019, DB Regio was awarded the contract for the Lausitz network by the Verkehrsverbund Berlin-Brandenburg (VBB) on behalf of the State of Brandenburg and the Zweckverband für den Nahverkehrsraum Leipzig (ZVNL).

Nexans, Eversource and Ørsted sign Framework Agreement for North American Offshore Wind Farm development with the opportunity to provide up to 1,000 kilometers of export cable for multiple Ørsted projects till 2027 in United States

In the final quarter of 2019, Nexans, Eversource, and Ørsted announced a framework agreement. The agreement will reinforce their long-term partnership and will result in Nexans having the opportunity to provide up to 1,000 km of subsea high voltage export cables for Ørsted’s offshore wind farms in North America. The first delivery is expected by 2022 and the agreement extends until 2027.

Mitsubishi Electric Corporation announced recently that it launched its new MOVE elevator model featuring fast delivery, space savings and low environmental impact suited to use in medium- and low-rise office buildings and apartments in Europe. Development and manufacturing are being handled by subsidiary Mitsubishi Elevator Europe B.V., which will market the model in the Netherlands, UK, France and other European countries, targeting annual sales of 1,500 units in the fiscal year ending in March 2026.
