SMD PCB Terminal Blocks from WAGO
2065 Series SMD PCB terminal blocks– Reduced to the Essentials
February 20, 2024
Reduced to the essentials, WAGO’s new 2065 Series SMD PCB Terminal Block provides the industry’s greatest termination capability in an ultra-compact footprint. Just 2.7 mm (1.063 inch) tall, the compact 2065 Series accommodates conductors from 24 to 18 AWG (0.2 … 0.75 mm², solid and fine-stranded).
The design of WAGO’s 2065 Series SMD PCB is reduced to the essentials. Its elegant simplicity is an impressive feature. Contact frame and spring – more is not necessary to reliably connect solid and fine-stranded conductors. The silver rectangular contact with its seamless tunnel cover and rounded edges makes it particularly robust. The terminal block is also extremely slim and space-saving on the PCB – reducing on-board shadowing. Furthermore, an upward slanted conductor entry simplifies wiring. The frame’s openings not only allow fine-stranded conductors to be terminated via the clamping unit, they also unveil the technology behind it.
Advantages of the 2065 Series SMD PCB:
- Maximum conductor range, minimum installation space
- Compact design minimizes on-board LED shadowing
- Conductor range: 24 … 18 AWG (0.2 … 0.75 mm², solid and fine-stranded)
- Industry-proven Push-in CAGE CLAMP®
- Insertion of fine-stranded conductors and removal of all conductor types via operating tool
- An economical alternative to wire soldering
- Delivery in tape-and-reel packaging for full integration into SMT soldering process

WAGO’s New IO-Link Converter
WAGO’s new IO-Link Converter is a 4-20 mA analog input with a digital display incorporating analog signals into a digital communication network for sensors and actuators from the field into an IO-Link-capable system.
The Analog/IO-Link Converter provides an economical, compact solution for easily incorporating conventional analog sensors and actuators into an IO-Link-capable system like the WAGO I/O System Field, depending on their type. This allows reliable, cost-effective, interference-immune acquisition and output of analog signals. Digital communication can easily be introduced (retrofitted) when old systems are modernized. The converter can be configured directly on the device via IO-Link. A compact design, IP67 protection and the high operating temperature range make the Analog/IO-Link Converter ideal for automation without control cabinets.
