Pilz Canada officially opened their Canadian Facility surrounded by Industry Partners, colleagues and channel partners.

The facility located in Mississauga Ontario represents the next stage of the Pilz’s family Investment into the Canadian Market. The new facility boasts a training facility and Laboratory.

Pilz is a leader in safe automation technology and is known Internationally as a total solutions supplier with solutions for safety and automation technology.

The objective of Pilz is to automate machines and plants in such a way that the safety of man, machine and environment is always guaranteed.

However, according to the Motion Control & Motor Association, part of the Association for Advancing Automation (A3), shipments were up 0.6% ($6 million) compared to the fourth quarter of 2018.

Two self-unloading dry cargo transshipment units will be the first bulk carriers in the industry to feature ABB’s Azipod electric propulsion. Both vessels, due for delivery to Oldendorff Carriers in 2021 from the Chengxi Shipyard in China, will be equipped with a complete power and propulsion solution from ABB.
