This innovative drive utilizes 3 level control to offer the best solution for challenging installations. Yaskawa is the only manufacturer to offer a low voltage drive with this architecture. 3 level technology minimizes drive induced problems associated with long motor cables and premature motor bearing failures.

B&R continues to open up new possibilities in mobile automation with its innovative X90 mobile controllers. The comprehensive set of standardized components is perfect for implementing flexible automation concepts. The heart of the X90 mobile control system is a powerful ARM processor and multifunction I/O channels. Basic features include interfaces for CAN, Ethernet and the real-time POWERLINK bus system.

HPS Sentinel G ventilated stand-up distribution transformers meet the latest federally mandated energy efficiency standards as outlined by DOE 2016 and NRCan 2019 requirements.

The renowned Toshiba EQP Global low voltage motors includes IEC motors compliant with the requirements of IEC 60034, designed for severe duty applications and featuring IP55 ingress protection and a totally enclosed fan cooled (TEFC) enclosure.

The AS30 array sensor operates on the proximity scanning principle. It detects even the slightest differences in grayscale values within the field-of-view. Positioning of, for example, a paper web based on the web edge or a contrast line is only one of many possible applications. Widths, diameters, and gaps can also be detected. In reflector mode, the AS30 can even detect transparent materials.

Up to now, extra-low voltage drives have been particularly in demand for applications in the automotive and consumer goods industries. However, compared to conventional industrial servo drives, this field has different product requirements in terms of robustness, durability, serviceability and scalability.

B&R has developed a virtual sensor for its ACOPOS P3 servo drive: the Safe Speed Observer. It determines speed in accordance with SIL 2 / PL d / CAT 3 requirements, reducing the cost of implementing the Safely Limited Speed safety function by eliminating the need for a safe encoder.

In response to high demand, SCHUNK has increased its product line of power-amplified 5-axis vises which are now equipped with an adjustable center: The maintenance-free SCHUNK KONTEC KSX-C is now available in four base body lengths (330 mm, 430 mm, 500 mm, and 630 mm) and two heights (174 mm, and 125 mm). The high-quality 5-axis vises have two jaws, which can be precisely moved by a laser-etched ruler.

Festo has launched its own family of US-made, inch round body pneumatic cylinders – the DPRA series – to give OEM and MRO customers a high quality, direct replacement option for the non-repairable round body inch cylinder type used widely in North America.

DanfossWith more than one million square feet of exhibit and meeting space, the LEED Platinum-certified Enercare Centre at Exhibition Place in Toronto, Ontario, is the ninth-largest convention centre in North America. Located on the shores of Lake Ontario, the convection centre experiences the extreme weather that the Great Lakes region is known for – with temperatures ranging from -31°C (-24°F) to 40°C (105°F).

That puts a big burden on Exhibition Place’s HVAC equipment to keep the pace comfortable for more than 5.5 million visitors attending meetings, conventions, and exhibitions throughout the year.

50 HP 1-to-3 Microgrid Power Source Single Phase Power Solutions introduces the 50 HP 1-to-3 Microgrid Power Source featuring a patented BELLE Motor with Written-Pole technology to deliver three-phase power from single-phase utility service. The 50 HP 1-to-3 can be used to operate a 25 HP motor three-phase motor, and multiple other motors up the remaining 25 HP of capacity. Ideal for areas without three-phase service, this revolutionary approach eliminates the high fuel and maintenance costs, and the pollution of fossil-fuel-powered Gen-Sets, while delivering superior power quality to that of a conventional phase converter.  It is far more cost effective than extending 3-phase power where it is not currently available.
