B&R has developed a virtual sensor for its ACOPOS P3 servo drive: the Safe Speed Observer. It determines speed in accordance with SIL 2 / PL d / CAT 3 requirements, reducing the cost of implementing the Safely Limited Speed safety function by eliminating the need for a safe encoder.

Non-contact EchoPod and EchoTouch reflective ultrasonic liquid level sensors feature Flowline’s proprietary Reflective Technology that delivers reliable level measurement in condensing environments.

The B&R ACOPOS P3 servo drive is now also available with safety function Safely Limited Torque (SLT). This makes B&R one of the first manufacturers to offer this certified safety function. Safely Limited Torque safely monitors torque up to SIL 2 / PL d.

With Balluff’s new online Machine Vision configurator tool, users can confidently and efficiently select the product combinations required for configuring a complete vision system to meet their application needs.

Balluff’s newest precision laser sensors guarantee precise positioning of small parts, as well as dark, transparent or complex-shaped objects.

QM30VT Series vibration and temperature sensors offer exceptional levels of accuracy and are housed in heavy-duty, ultracompact enclosures.

Switching point, switching window, filter, sonic  beam width, output logic: when a new sensor is installed in a machine, a variety of parameters must be adjusted to the application. The parameter server function via the IO-Link interface is the solution for parameter exchange within seconds. This ensures maximum system availability.

PF factor1sensor 400

As the inventor of the world's first inductive proximity sensor, Pepperl+Fuchs has extended its portfolio to include reduction factor 1 sensors with IO-Link, providing users with even more flexibility, additional features, and diagnostic options.

Bihl+Wiedemann offers with the speed monitors an effective method for safe processing of signals from sensors and encoders, enabling for example a safety reduced speed for setup operations. Each speed monitor can be incorporated into the control feedback circuit using adapters and cables already available, without affecting the actual control process.

The reader unit PITreader with RFID technology can be used to implement authentications and authorisations for plant and machinery. The options range from a simple enable and authentication of specific machine component functions to a complex hierarchical permission matrix.
